The Weirdo Stalker
That was the name we gave our 21 day build bike for the Blue-collar Build Off this year in April.
We did finish the bike for the day of the build but we did however missed the cut off time for the awards.
Now I am going to take this chopper build that my husband and I worked on (with a few amazing friends), and rebuild it for the Las Vegas bike fest.
For any of you that don’t know already our build is a 1976 Honda Chopper CB 750 that was a cafe bike we tore down and built into a vintage chopper style bike. The bike as of right now has zero brakes, A broken chain, and a cracked case. And that’s not all of it.
I do have another motor that I got for a separate build which I have now decided to just go ahead and use what I can from it to fix the Weirdo Stalker.
This will pretty much be a teardown and rebuild of the bike including painting the frame and fabricating parts etc. Here are some photos of what it took to get it to where it is now and the condition it actually is in right now.
This is now
Let’s hope that this ends up being a fun build and that the “all ladies bike show” for Las Vegas bike fest is a success and they choose proper judges. The few events I’ve been to in Vegas have been a little disheartening as far as how they are ran. Or who is running it. Or some other shady shit. Never the less I am still going to try to build towards a stronger motorcycle community in Las Vegas. We definitely could use it.
Here’s to rebuilding a chopper, woo hoo!
